St Hilda's Church, Hartlepool
Ron Simms Architect
The ancient church of St Hilda has undergone many changes over
the centuries. However, modern comfort and community use dictated
the commission for Treske to construct a glazed internal porch,
side screens and new servery, complete with fittings and appliances.
Fumed, limed and waxed oak were used and Treske were also involved
in altering and re-positioning existing items of church furniture.

A secure tablet box for the display of the ancient Hartlepool
stone with its runic inscription to a Saxon nun, was also made.
