Our customers choose Treske for the individual care they receive from Treske’s team of specialised kitchen designers, craftsmen and skilled installers who all have a wealth of knowledge and expertise focussed on creating high quality, bespoke individual kitchens with attention to every detail.
When you decide upon Treske for your new kitchen project, one of our experienced kitchen designers will visit you at your home or in the Treske showroom if appropriate. This consultation visit may take up to two hours and will include an initial site survey. Prior to the consultation it is really useful to consider what you would like to include, when you would like the kitchen fitted and your budget. The kitchen designer will carefully discuss with you how you use your kitchen, your specific requirements, appliances you need and a wish list of what your kitchen should include.
The designer collaborates with you, using their experience, to develop a concise brief from which a starting design and outline quote will be produced.
Presentations usually take place at Treske’s extensive showrooms, where designers have a range of products and sample displays alongside the on-screen presentation. You will be shown plan, elevations and realistic 3D visuals of your kitchen to give a real feel of the space. Changes to the design may happen during the development process which will be re-priced and presented to you once complete.
There is no charge for Treske’s design process, but we do protect our designs by only releasing drawings once a customer has made commitment to Treske by placing an order.
A precise survey will be carried out by the designer, installation manager and member of the CAD team, the site survey will be used to complete production drawings. During the survey the designer will run through final details with you and any elements that need confirmation. Following this survey, your kitchen is in production and no further changes can be made without charge.
Preliminary work by other contractors, such as plumbing, electrics, flooring and plastering, are discussed to have the kitchen space fully prepared for the fitting of your new kitchen.
Once an order has been placed, and a final survey completed, your beposke kitchen will be issued to our workshop.
We make all our cabinets here at our workshop in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. The timber is hand selected for each individual cabinet and is cut to size, planed, shaped and sanded piece by piece by our trained wood machinests. Your kitchen then moves to the cabinet making area, where our craftsmen carefully construct each unit or piece of furniture using time honoured skills and techniques.
Once the units are assembled, our polishing, finishing and painting department finish each surface by hand, taking the utmost care to ensure your kitchen is to the Treske standard and will stand the test of time.
Treske’s team of dedicated kitchen installers work hard to minimise disruption to your daily life. Fitting usually takes place over a two-week period.
The first week, involves fitting the cabinets and appliances and templating the work-surfaces. The second week, work surface installation, cabinet painting and the second fix connection of plumbing and electrics.
Once our fitters have completed the final details and tidied up the kitchen is ready for you to start enjoying.
The kitchen team will visit you at your home after the kitchen is complete to check and see everything in place.
Your Treske kitchen is fully guaranteed against any faulty component or material, or any failure in normal use, occurring within two years.
