The Ayton Sideboard is a beautifully crafted storage piece that reflects the signature character of the Ayton collection. Its distinctive angular sub‑frame and gently curved stretchers echo the bridges, paths, and boats of Great Ayton, giving the design a subtle sculptural quality. Available as a two‑ or three‑door cabinet, it offers refined, functional storage for dining rooms, living spaces, or hallways.
Part of the Ayton range originally designed by Mike McIntosh, the Ayton Sideboard incorporates the collection’s signature angular sub‑frame and curved stretcher rail. It is crafted from European Ash, European Oak, or American Walnut sourced from FSC‑certified suppliers and finished with a standard oil, although stains and alternative finishes are available. The piece shown on the website is made in Walnut.

Treske is an independent, family-owned British manufacturer with over 50 years of heritage. Their workshops and showrooms are housed in an historic Victorian maltings in Thirsk, North Yorkshire — a building that remains a beating heart of traditional cabinet making. Galvanized by a passion for the natural beauty of hardwood, Treske is defined by a commitment to creating high-quality, sustainable furniture that celebrates the unique character of every piece.
Their furniture is renowned for its superior workmanship and full customisation, offering everything from bespoke kitchens to standard designs tailored to individual dimensions. Treske blends artisanal, hand-finished techniques with modern design technology to bring bespoke visions to life. Remaining close to the raw material, their designers and makers work collaboratively with every client, ensuring that each piece is perfectly suited to its space and purpose.
