Kitchen Project - Almscliffe

The kitchen cabinetry uses painted door panels within maple frames and other matching maple wood work, producing a beautiful colour and style combination.  The kitchen features are taken from Treske’s Thirsk style of kitchen giving the kitchen a strong arts and crafts feel, creating a timeless and elegant look.

The cooking area is a key feature within the kitchen. Behind the cream Everhot range and fitted to below the is a granite splashback in Fantasy Brown, the same as is used on the other kitchen worksurfaces, adding elegance and practicality. 

Opposite and to the other side of the washing area, is a freestanding Fisher & Paykel fridge freezer with an integrated ice dispenser. The fridge freezer is surrounded with maple cabinetry and storage area above ensuring the fridge blends seamlessly into the overall design.

Next to both fridge and the mantle opposite, glazed wall cabinets with warm internal LED lighting introduce a sense of openness and balance, while offering display space for cherished items.

Across from the kitchen the dining area has a bespoke breakfast dresser in the same Thirsk style, with drawer storage below and bifold doors opening over the granite worksurface to reveal open shelving.  Additional tall cabinetry provides extra space.

Just adjacent to the kitchen, a cozy snug with comfortable seating is the setting for built in book shelves and the fitted home office. The snug’s design, with everything made in maple rather than the maple/paint combination used elsewhere, ties in beautifully with the kitchen, adding warmth and depth to the overall living space.

The kitchen achieves a light and airy feel, while being functional, perfectly balancing style and practicality.
