Feature burr oak kitchen with granite worktops and wrought iron handles. This traditional Yorkshire design, with framed panelled doors in burr oak, features a curved island unit which visually and physically invites footfall from the lobby of the house into the kitchen.
The double AGA and companion gas oven and hob puts a smile on the face of anyone who likes to do a little home baking. High mantles, bespoke cabinetry and drying racks give this kitchen a warm homely feel and the ribbed Shaws Bowland sink adds an interesting design feature, contrasting well with the deep Ubatuba granite.
Storage includes plate racks, book shelves, hidden pantry, doors concealing the freestanding fridge and freezer, and a range of deep and shallow drawers making this kitchen as practical as it is handsome.
From the mantle over the AGA (which matches one on a fireplace elsewhere in the room) and a handmade freestanding dresser with display lighting, to the solid beech dovetailed drawers and Crofts and Assinder wrought iron handles, every aspect of the client’s brief was fulfilled to make this the perfect workplace and appropriate setting for a happy cook.
Please pass on our thanks to the whole team and in particular to Tom, the workmanship and quality was fantastic.
