Designed to accommodate the family dining area, an island with breakfast bar seating, with cooking practicality very much in mind.
This framed and painted shaker style kitchen fits within a long rectangular floor plan. The linear nature of the kitchen is softened with curves to create the different working areas.
A peninsula complete with an oak butcher’s block, separates the dining from the cooking areas of the room and provides increased space for display and storage. An oak pull out wine rack faces the dining table. Further space is provided by a special larder cupboard with internal drawers, shelves and racks.
In the adjoining utility Treske made new cabinets to complement existing storage. The kitchen was hand painted in Little Greene Dark Lead and Inox and uses oak for the display mantle, cornice and island, with Silestone Lyra worksurfaces.
