Kitchen Project - Helmsley

The transformation centred on creating a functional, welcoming space while making the range cooker the focal point. Every wall incorporates clever storage solutions, including display shelving, cupboards, and deep drawers, ensuring cookware and kitchen essentials have a dedicated place.

On the left side of the U-shaped layout, a worktop dresser with a glazed upper section provides display space, while wide drawers flow seamlessly into a Le Mans corner unit, making full use of the available area. The granite worktop continues into the window reveal, adding extra preparation space and a premium finish.

To the left of the aubergine Everhot range, an undermounted freezer, pull-out tray storage, and additional drawers provide practical functionality. The range is complemented by a Westin cooker hood, while the granite splashback features a stepped detail perfect for showcasing key items. To the right, further drawers house the sink and integrated dishwasher, maintaining a clean and efficient workflow.

Another Le Mans unit utilises the corner effectively, leading to a half-glazed dresser top that conceals everyday appliances such as a microwave and toaster. Oak shelving with brushed nickel supports adds warmth and character, providing both display and functional storage.

The wall opposite the range, once occupied by awkward alcoves, now features a bespoke larder cabinet with pocket doors—perfect for high-traffic zones. Inside, multi-height shelving, tray pull-outs, and internal drawers of varying depths ensure easy access and organisation. A shallow niche beside the larder has been transformed into a bespoke spice and sauce cabinet, with an integrated fridge completing the run. The cabinets are unified with a continuous cornice and face-fixed plinth for a seamless, custom-built appearance.

Continuity with the relocated utility area is achieved through two oak cabinets at the kitchen entrance, one for cleaning products and the other housing a stacked washer and dryer. The result is a luxury family kitchen that combines bespoke craftsmanship, clever storage, and stylish finishes—perfectly suited for modern cooking, entertaining, and family life.
