This kitchen design embodies the simple layout and clean lines favoured by contemporary designs, but with the warmth and homeliness that wood brings to furniture.
The flat doors are oak veneered and are also textured to give a sawn finish. These sculptured veneers have a range of textures and colours to choose from. The kitchen’s tall storage uses a range of cement faced doors giving an architectural feel to the scheme. The use of smoked mirror and edge-lit glass shelves enhance the modern contemporary feel.
The kitchen is full of useful features including the seamless Corian worktops, and motorised auto-lift doors for the cabinet over the cooking area. The wall cabinets have touch to open door and drawers while the veneered lower cabinets use discreet brass pull handles.
Adding to the contemporary style is the Tesla downdraught extraction hob, a space saving combination of induction hob and extractor, that diminishes the need for over head extraction within kitchen design.
