Treske made fourteen traditional trestle style tables in solid ash for the tea rooms at Beningbrough Hall and Gardens, a popular National Trust house near York.
The ash chosen carried a strong patina which as the tables age enhances their looks. Made as comfortable six seat tables these are immensely practical and finished in a clear lacquer that is heat and water resistant. The tables can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Over time the tables do wear and can easily be refurbished.
Treske have also furnished other National Trust tea rooms at The Treasurers House in York and notably Fountains Abbey near Ripon.
