Named after the village of Great Ayton on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, the signature curves of the stretchers meeting in a single rail between the legs signify the paths, bridges and boats the people of Yorkshire journeyed to follow their dreams.
Made in our Thirsk North Yorkshire workshops the Ayton range was designed by Mike Mcintosh, initially as a commission for a table in a Treske kitchen. The Ayton range of designs have developed into a complete range of fine English hand-crafted furniture including standard sizes of Ayton dining, coffee, side, and console tables, as well as a matching sideboard.
Ayton High Bookcase
Each piece is made to order, using sustainably sourced European ash, oak or American walnut, with other timbers available on request. The Ayton is finished in a durable oil as standard, with additional finish and stain options available to suit your home and taste.
Ayton Side Table
The Ayton range is defined by its elegant signature detail—arched stretchers meeting in a single rail between the legs, a quiet nod to Yorkshire’s bridges, pathways and waterways that have carried generations towards new journeys.
